Alaska Family Services is currently offering Active Parenting Now parenting class. This is a 6 part class cohort series that is recommended for parents with child(ren) in the household ages 5 – 12 years old.
Course: Active Parenting NOW
Children Age Range: School age children 5 to 12 years old.

# of classes: 6
Requirements:
• Must complete all 6 classes and homework to receive Certificate of Completion
• Permitted to make-up 1 class, otherwise you will need to join the next scheduled class series
• Homework must be complete at the start of each class
OCS Involvement?
• If participation in this class is part of a case plan with the Office of Children Services, we encourage you to contact your case worker to inquire about fee coverage via OCS purchase authorization.
Foster Parent?:
• Participation in this class may count towards your training requirements
