The Alaska Native Birthworkers Community is hosting a FREE prenatal plant making class on Saturday, March 13 from 1-4PM over zoom with special guest instructors Rhonda Lee Grantham and Margaret David. Rhonda Lee Grantham is the Center for Indigenous Midwifery founder, Midwife and Herbalist. Margaret David is an Alaska Native Birthworkers Community co-founder and midwife at the Alaska Native Medical Center.
This plant medicine making class is for Alaska Native/Indigenous families that are currently expecting. Rhonda and Margaret will teach the class how to make herbal iron syrup and nutritional infusion drink which is meant to be used during pregnancy. Everything needed, except the stove top and pot, will be mailed out in a kit.

The registration deadline is February 20th to ensure that kits will have enough time to be mailed out and received by participants by the class date (March 13). A zoom link to participate will be sent to registrants following registration acceptance.
