Teddy Bear Care

Alaska parents… join me – veterinarian, Dr Jen Hennessey Donaldson – as the Matsu Animal Shelter hosts Teddy Bear Care on November 16th – 12-2p AKDT
For many kids, a stuffed animal is the first best friend and an essential pal for comfort & stress relief. Stuffed animals also stimulate creativity, communication skills, and provide the jump start to learning how to nourish a healthy, compassionate relationship with pets 🫶🏼
Kids can bring their favorite stuffed animal in for a checkup, receive a health certificate for their plush pet, and enjoy learning about responsible pet ownership & veterinary medicine 🫶🏼
Free event – great for young kids 🫶🏼 pet learning stations and more 🙏🏼
Donations to the shelter are appreciated 🐾💜
